Just saw a news report on bbc world. I never knew anything about Razorlight before then. I will go out and buy their music for one reason only, the lead singer mentioned the injustice and fraudulant election in my home country of Zimbabwe, thank you Razorlight!

Well after seeing Razorlight on youyoutube, I like the music too so its not only because they stood up for the unjust carryings on in Zimbabwe :)

Thanks for raising the profile of the Zimbabwe crisis......we need more people like you. Members of the opposition (to Mugabe) operate in conditions that are as bad and if not worse than those in Apartheid South Africa which the AU and SADC conveniently ignore.

    Re: Mandela gig

I missed the gig. They played in the first hour of the concert. Yesterday night there was one song on youtube. Don't know what else was played.

Highlight of the show was obviously the speech of Mandela. Fragile, but the message was ever so strong.

About Mugabe... #$#$^@#% him... since I was in Zimbabwe in 2001 I have followed his actions closely. I can't believe the world is accepting this. Even Mandela does not dare to speak REALLY FIRM words. I really thought the opposition would beat him this time, but we all know what happened... It's sad.... very very very SAD....

Yeh, Mandela has been a little bit of a dissapointment when it comes to Zimbabwe, it makes one wonder why when it was white people oppressing black people this was obviously wrong but when a black government torturing, murdering and oppressing fellow black people its normal and not to be LOUDLY condemned. Africans should speak up against such brutality when and where ever it happens. It's sad when people in England or other Western countries are the only ones condemning Mugabe and his regime what happened to pan Africanism for the people and not corrupt leadership pan Africanism? where all the African leaders protect each other when they want to cling to power by any means. Thank you Jonny Borrell you are a true human being that cares for their fellow human beings no matter what their race.

I actually saw this concert on Australian TV...was so happy to finally see a Razorlight concert NOT on youtube! Much of the political stuff was cut out in favour of showing the artists perform so i didn't hear anything about what Johnny said which is disappointing, but i guess they have to fit in what they can into a limited time frame.  Did razorlight only do one song: before i fall to pieces, or were there more?  It was a fantastic event for a great cause. Lately i have been so upset with the news about Zimbabwe, it's awful but in some way it's good that they're finally putting African news on the news because until recently it's been just one short line towards the end of the program or only on the non commercial tv channels...anything that can raise awareness is good and i'm so happy that razorlight is helping with that.
